At least in this game you can teleport to towns you've already visited, so you're actually not spending a lot of time on the world map sailing.

Unless you're referring to the Golden Claw. That one definitely requires much patience. Good thing I have fast forward keys Specky

This is a post about the Tower of Arp now! It's an optional dungeon but its highly recommended to go there anyway (Especially if it's your first playthrough).

It's not like you're losing anything (in fact if you frequently visit EP it's probably more beneficial) and it doesn't take very long to do.
