well you've probably seen numerous mentions from me about my band.... well lately wee have been hard at work doing our ep using school resources and wee are finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel....  wee have had certain complications but things are finally coming together now...

here is the most finished piece so far......

the drums and guitar need to be re-done on it (i got moved from keys to drums when wee only just started recording so i didn't have a chance to write a decent beat Facepalm.....) and some general mixing and small touch-ups need to be made but at least it's listenable..... i will post the finished version along with the rest of the EP when they're finished.... but anyhow have a listen guys and tell me what ya think......
Not bad, not bad at all...

The vocal track needs to be lowered a bit.
Could you send me an unmolested WAV of each track one you've redone the guitars and drums? I'll run the vocals through Melodyne and give it a general tidy up if you want.

Do an audio mixdown but solo one track at a time. That way you only get that track in the mixdown. Do that for every track. Also disable all effects and EQ before doing it.

yeah sure..... wee can do the final mix in the summer sometime....

also thank you for your comment xero1
I think the vocals are acceptable, or maybe a bit too high.  The main issue is that your recording seems to have caught some breaths or similar (or did you apply a normalisation/dynamic-range compression filter?), because the music has parts where it suddenly fades out and back in again.  Then again, you said it has some touchups that need to be done, so that'll probably fix it.

Otherwise, not bad at all, as said above :)

it's the drums that are the problem..... the overheads weren't good enough so wee'll be re-doing them and they should be alright
