As for not getting capped, it's easier said than done, when you have siblings spamming your internet, and also other people renting the house spamming the internet.  And these people renting the house are paying us like $500 a week combined (rent is paid weekly in Australia), so no reason for them not to use whatever they can.

Or, if freaking Telstra won't fix up stupid congestion issues in your area.  Seriously, my DL speed goes down to 5KB/sec at some points (usually during night-time or weekends; it usually runs full speed during weekdays) and I'm not shaped (so meant to get around 52KB/sec).

The NBN stage 1 plans look attractive - too bad only Tasmanians can get them.
