I was reading the Bible the other day, and in one of the Ten Commandments it says, "Thou Shalt not make any graven images of me (God)," but in TV shows and movies, God was depicted by many people; Morgan Freeman, for example. So I guess Christianity is more lineant than Islam when it comes to depicting their Savior. I guess that's why I don't get why it's such a big deal to draw Muhammed. Hell, I even thought about participating in "Draw Muhammed Day" but I don't do things to deliberately piss people off.

If only religion did not exist... Wait... Then Earth would have been over-populated a LONG time ago! GO RELIGION!!! =_=

secondly the insulting reason:
as that prophet Mohammad is the dearest man for Muslims ,it is so hurtful for Muslims to see pictures about him are made to make fun on him
uncaring about feeling of 2 billions of Muslim people can`t be called free of speech but racism

the biggest part of the problem that those who draw pictures of the prophet didn't releaise that muslims never draw pictures of other`s abrahamic religions as it is haram and never they use that as a revinge ,i can`t understand why don`t non muslims learn to be the same tolerant? may be it is not a part of thier religions

In every religion wee had two different types of followers. The fundamentalist and the moderates. Fundamentalist usually take the bible word for word and are very strict when it comes to religion practices like praying and visiting the church. Moderates see the bible as a tool to get closer to God and not as a law book. Yes the bible is important but it all depends on the people reading it on how things viewed. Mohammad if an important symbol to muslims like Jesus is to protestants christians and how the virgin mary is to catholics. Yes some of em do get depicted in drawings or statues (Like Jesus Bro up there) but i guess muslims would kill you if you made a Mohammad bro.
