Its the beam. I don't have the double jump chip

Also the move where he tries to stab you with his bayonet. There's isn't a lot of room to move around in so it almost always gets me

try to lure him to the middle and dash jump over him for the beam?

as for the stab move, is that the one where he jump up and ummm fly+ stab you?
dash below him, like right below him, you can even turn around for a quick hit if you are fast enough.

for that fight, i prefer to stay in the middle of the screen to dodge stuffs easier =/ he's goddamn fast.
