Endless Paradigm

I got me a laptop :DDDDDDD

its like a 3 year old model or something but my parents got it for me for like an early birthday gift. It a Packard Bell Easy note.

Specs:

1.60Ghz processor
512mb RAM
30GB harddrive

its running windows xp professional SP3

Its specs are not the best but i don't care i like, and space isn't an issue because that black box behind the laptop in the photos to come is my 1TB external which will always be conected to it.
so now that i finally have my own computer you guys will have to get me up to speed how to theme it really well and do all other sorts of other cool spoon with it, like getting Debian on it. It dosnt seem to have wireless either, so im going to go buy a little wireless usb stick thing so i can pick up wireless on it, also i got a new mouse for it :D

I remember getting my first laptop. Aww the memories...
I had to pay for mine though. If i were you i would upgrade the ram like i did. Ram is cheap nowadays.

Computer specs are overrated. If you reat it right even the most basic computer will do fine for most people. You said about getting Debian on it so you obviosusly know a thing or two. Enjoy!
