my girl took a picture of me using my iphone 3gs then when i view the pics it looks like the picture above i thought my iphone is defective but when i transfer the files on my PC i found out that MY SHIRT is creating optical illusion.

Download and view it on your PC, Cp iPhone and Digital Cam Then ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT to see the difference.

Cool. Trippy o_o

I've always wanted a shirt that can cause an optical illusion.
I always wondered why that happens when people wear striped shirts Hmmm
i can see it because of the image viewer plugin wee have here at ep.

i didnt read what was posted at first.
and right away i see the illusion. but then immediately i clicked on it to view at regular size and it was gone. i was like double you tee eff!!

then i read on. :P
that's very cool
Hmmm well you see
the actually illusion here is probably caused by the resampling of the image on the computer...
this can be noted when you ctrl++ (a.k.a. zoom in on the resized image) you can tell the stripes are still gone no matter how far you zoom in. As far as in real life this does happen as people walk away from striped objects

what interests me most is when you look at on object with caution lines (striped yellow and black lines often angled) and as your eyes trace it going away from you with perspective you see the lines have actually flipped direction compelty. I first noticed this in the video game Garry's Mod, (initially thinking it was a computer rendering error) and realized it was actually my eyes making the pattern flip.
Yeah stripes tend to create effects like that as Slushba mentioned above pretty much what I about to say.
I notice this quite often in games, eg looking at metal grates or vents from a distance.
Motorway gantries in the UK do it as well. Each side of the gantry is 'walled' with a metal mesh that you can see through. As yo drive towards it weird patterns appear in the light shining through.
Its like a topographical map of your muscles :P
