Full Version: How to mount DVD drive in mATX case?

Well I looked at it for hours and have no clue....
The case is a Aplus CS102B mATX case and the DVD drive is a totally normal SATA DVD burner.

I'm grateful for ANY advice because this is a PC I build for the girlfriend of a friend and I totally can't be bothered to drive to a PC shop for that kind of small stuff.
I build many normal ATX PCs and never had any probs, first and last time I got mATX....

I can't see any obvious drive bay which is odd.

the thing under the holes is the HDD obviously.... hmm.........

that left panel needs to pop off and hav a drive slide in....looking for more info.

Unfortunately I can't see the pic you posted Schmilk, about the drive slide in, I figured out just now I need plastic sliders, yeah just I have none^^'

Nevermind, saw the pic now :P I just called the girlfriend and asked her to look in ANY packages she still has at home...

Impossible, it's springloaded... Also I have no problems fitting it, just mounting it Sadist

I am close to do 1... why can't she be satisfied with a external USB burner??? Sadist
Does the manual not say anything?
From this picture it seems that it can't be mounted.
