I'd like to see evidence if it WAS being spammed cause I've never seen more than 4 or 5 from different people greeting each other.

I wouldn't say that was unreasonable - it's just a smiley. Still, the solution was said pages back, AdBlock can selectively block specific images so Shady can do that if wanted to.
