Obviously, this is not about any rules here.
Rather, I'm sure a number of you are, or have been, active posters on other forums. For those, have you ever read the rules?
Me, never - even the forums I've moderated on (yes, someone enforcing rules doesn't even know them).
... except for PSP-Hacks where a parody was made of the rules.

no spamming blah blah blah (although it's common sense to sPa/\/\ in this forum) no racist/offensive comment blah blah blah

If you actually look at small startups (most of them run by little kids), a common trend is them posting a sticky/locked thread of the forum rules in every single forum.
I just find it amusing that they believe users will actually read them.
