Saw this from Samsung a while ago.
Vista/7 supports GPT partitioning, so only XP affected.
Really not exactly a new thing, as people have been running bigger RAIDs for a while now - am not sure if there's a workaround for XP.
Samsung apparently are moving to 4KB blocks on disks - WD already moved to 4KB blocks with their *EARS (64M cache) series drives. Wonder if Seagate are doing the same. If so, XP has another issue in that it always assumes the underlying drive is using 0.5KB blocks.
