you madman, I can't believe you did that on a stock cooler.

Stock cooler is awesome.  Lol, I overclock on stock too.

And it's usually only the very last push that needs the big overvoltaging and thus cooling (from what I read, heat produced is linearly related to clock speed, but the relation to voltage is power 2, so overvoltage has a much bigger impact on heat than simple clockspeed increases).  You can do a moderate to highish overclock just fine with little or no overvoltage, which the stock cooler should handle fine.

I dislike heavy overvoltaging anyway, scared of it reducing the lifespan of my processor too much.

How do they even plan on selling any 870's if the 875K costs less?  Hope un-researched retards buy them?

Seems like the finally fixed the pricing boo boo.  Now the 870 costs only $10 more than the 860.
Yeah, I heard they were taking it down for the 880, which will be priced at the old 870 price.
$10 more is fairly good IMO.  They did the same for the i5 760.

Now it's only $1 more than the 860 (at MSY), which is really good.  Is the 860 going to be phasing out like the 920 or something?

Lol, how would you feel if you bought it for like $660 a month ago, to know what within the next month, your CPU's price dropped by more than a half....  But then again, if you actually went and bought that back then, you're a retard and you deserved it.
It's August already... /disbelief

If I don't lose my job by the end of this month (lol), I'm pretty confident I'll start buying parts at the end of the month
For a case, may I suggest the NZXT Phantom? It should come out by end of this month and it looks truly badass imo^^
Functionality and cable management seem also nice, although it's more a luxury case so it will cost around 130€ from what I read.

Although take this suggestion with a grain of salt, I heard mixed stuff about NZXT. Some people say it would even stand a nuclear impact while others said NZXT cases break apart if you only touch them^^'

Looks great. But I only found it selling in EU with Overclockers.co.uk for pre-order for £130 << it's really hard to justify paying that much for a case - as good as it looks ~_~ [then again with that kind of internal cooling, 4GHz stable shouldn't be a problem...]
