Update Recent Posts via ajax like the shoutbox?

I do not understand but change is good!
Is it possible to have the "like" tool like facebook for comment?

Yes...and one for FAIL too :D

The shoutbox uses ajax scripting to auto-update the shouts people post...
I assume this could also be implemented into the recent posts list so it updates

as for facebook...

Probably not automatic, but maybe a button to manually update it without refreshing the page?
Alternatively, put notices in the shoutbox maybe?

hmmm the whole automatic thing was just so the posts would update and actually be the most recent posts...

if it requires a button then it's no better than refreshing which sometimes I just can't be assed to do :/

The problem is that some people like having a static list so they can keep track of where they're up to.

For the sake of it maybe being easier, how about updating them in the shout box, or a new channel for updates, or a 2nd shout box?
