Oncm dropped a bombshell on me taking me away on a surprise holiday skiing in the french alps, All good fun. Thanks Mum!

But then Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland went pop (been there too!). So now wee're a bit stranded here...

The travel company are bussing us out. A 12 hour journey stuck on a cramped coach with barely enough room to perch my laptop on my knees next to my face. Cattle class...

Oh well. I'll see you all soon I suppose.

12 hour bus ride!
I wouldnt last 6 hours. Hope you get home safe. Just make sure the bus driver isn't falling asleep.

I've had a 22hour bus ride before.... (going to austria on a bus for a school skiing trip is not fun) anyway... you could have stayed home and aided us in recording....

Ouch, 12 hours in a cramped place, do not want.

Back now. Turned out to be 14 hours from the Alps to the ferry port. Then a 3 hour wait at the ferry port, 2 hour ferry crossing, 2 hour drive from the destination ferry port to the airport where wee were originally meant to end up, 1/2 hour taxi ride to where the car was parked then finally a 5 hour drive home.

26 and a half hours of sweat, fart and DVT...

Damn, sounds painful, well is all over with now right?
