How do you get girls to come up and ask you out?

Not that I'm jealous or anything when I have my two dimensional images of anime girls and three dimensional plastic figures.

today was awkward in class. :S

@others: really, going out isn't an option here. i know even if i have a gf, all my money would go into games anyway. i can make some spare time and such, but with the current economy, where can you go without money?

then I'll be an asshole in her eye (singular, she had some random left eye surgery, so currently she's wearing an eye patch, which is a plus here). which i don't really want to >_>

I'd say... this is somewhat of an awkward situation, but think how it would have been if you'd have declined her right on the spot? "Maybe wee can go out sometime" "I don't think so..." just would have sounded like it was an obvious answer. Going back later and saying that you thought it over and decided you really aren't comfortable with dating just yet.

Also, kinda random on the eye patch deal. If you can, try to phrase it so she knows you'd like to stay friends (if you guys are friends in the first place). If you guys barely know each other, then I can't really say what to do :/

Well she asked you out because she things your good looking since you said you never really talked to her.

As long as she knows that you can't do the long term thing she will not think your an asshole later. At your age money shouldn't be a problem tell her you really want to get to know her more, but you don't have any money right now and as soon as you do you will take her out someplace nice. Until then she will be happy with just hanging out or something. Tell it like it is, good people are more understanding then you would think.
