So this was going to be an obvious thread to spring up once news of a psp go exploit was released. I remember making a thread about getting a psp go for hacking reasons only to turn it down because the go had almost no possibility of getting hacked. So lo and behold, here's come an exploit with complications; and it looks like the devs are starting to create drama and what not, so it would be dangerous to go out and get a go before anything REALLY happens.
Basically, i would be selling off my silver psp and nintendo ds lite just to get a psp go; but personally i'd feel like it would be worth it because
A) i don't play the ds, AT ALL
B) Why have a slim when you have a go?
Sure, it won't be fully hacked and there's a eloader, but from what i can tell i can live with something like that

And yes, i do want to have .isos on the go because i don't see the point in paying for my games all over again + without any physical copy in compensation.
So what do you guys think? go for the go? or no?

Of course this does sound like childish impulse, but yes i do actually want it for many a reasons + my psp slim is driving me crazy with it's sticky d-pad.
Why would i want it? well i AM able to carry my psp slim in my pocket, but the darn thing is so big and so clunky to take it out comfortably on the bus; let alone whip out and start playing it. It's also frequently crushed and takes up my entire left pocket of my jeans so it can fit; it does have 8GB of space which is enough for me, but since I'm using a microsd adapter; i can just buy a memory stick micro to microsd adapter and use that. 24GB's of psp goodness sounds great to me and it also eliminates me having to use my iphone to play music or watch videos (it dies fast enough using 3G).
In many ways, I'm simply just dying for a smaller psp; i can stick with my slim, but i can't use it as oftenly as i want to. Also, i can deal with smaller controls really (how's the dpad? i use it oftenly...) but my psp slim is having problems of it's own with a sticky d-pad and all.
TL;DR version: it's smaller and that's what i need because i only use it when going outside; I'm getting this system simply for it's emulation prownessess and games, so anything else like video players or music players are already taken out of the equation.
and no, i do not watch any videos on my psp or iphone really, just because i feel like i should get full cinematic experience and watch it on my computer.
Yeah, well you can sell the DS right now, but not the PSP until they actually release a CFW for the PSP GO.

But i am a cheapskate; psp go's are going at 150$ because they aren't hacked as far as the public knows, but if people find out; the psp go will go up in price considerably, basically equating the chance of me getting a go EVEN IF i sell my psp + ds.
So you can see why it's necessary to sell it now and wait.
If all you want is emulation, I think there's cheaper devices out there which do the job (anyone remember the GP2x?)...
