yeah but they're getting rid of all the reasons I'd ever have for buying a PS3.
Well I won't update for now. Lets see if somebody sues Sony and they are forced to enable it again. Imho that's a BIG FAT reason to sue, I bought my PS3 with Linux and want to keep it >_>

You won't be able to go on the PSN on the PS3 or play games online if you don't update. Typical Sony methods...
I read that much but I can bear a week or two without PSN^^
not bothered. i bought my ps3 for GAMING, i have computers to use for linux.
well imma wait till 1/6, if no enable otheros CFW or something is out, I'm forced to update, because i need some PSN game business before i leave for japan >_>
