Endless Paradigm

May as well make an entry. I got the game recently. My take?

- Graphics are pretty
- Lightning is a female version of Squall
- Story is very intimidating early on (At first I thought "What the fudge is a fal'Cie or l'Cie!?")
- Paradigms may just about be one of the battle system's best features. To the point that without it the battle system sucks.
- Did I ever tell you how pretty the graphics were?
- Vanille's voice is horrible. Everytime she talks I scream.
- Music is a mixed bag. It fits the action well but it's not very catchy
- The game is linear... dungeons are just straight lines...
- Eidolon battles seem gimmicky (Though I've only done Shiva's one so far)

I'm only up to after beating up the Dreadnought. I'll post more once I get further.

Also it generally doesn't feel like it's an FF game at all.

Vanille and Hope irritate me no bounds....  I wish I could kill them off.

Hope doesn't bother me so much but god... its been a while since wee've seen another sobbing coward like Edward or Gordon in an FF game.

Actually, the only most sensible character in the game is Sazh (and his chocobo). Snow is unrealistic (till how much I have played), Lightning is stubbornly moronic and no more comments on the other two.

But I love the game so far.

The only catchy song is the battle song.
Also where's the crystal song and main theme of FF?

I've been playing for +13 hours now and i love it (thinking about a lightning sig)

EDIT: AND OH YEA NICE GRAPHICS!

I rented FFXiii for 360 last night to check out the graphics and game play..i was a little dissapointed in the whole battle mode seeing that I can do it all by just pressing automatic...Lilly was so impressed by the graphics she took the controller out of my hands and gnawed on it during all the cut scenes lol

The story line is only1/2 of the game,. there will be more catchy songs,.

Wait untill you get to chapter 11!! the Archylte Steppe is hughe!!

The battle system is perfect!! whot do you expect,. ! and you have to make great use of the paradigm's!! although when you are facing a very weak enemie its kinda lame,. setting paradigm agression and only click auto battle,. but not to worry there are enemies with a hp over 16.000.000,.

anyway,. i just love the game!! BEST GAME EVAR!
but also makes me want to play FFIX again,. ;p

Did't work for a few tries but then when i tried again the first Death spell i casted Neochu went down just like that,.
and i got my Growth Egg wich i upgraded to 2x lv.*
this is mission 55 but you need mission 14 first(to ride a chocobo) and defeat Barthandelus in Oerba first(chapter 11)
To unlock mission 14 you need to unlock mission 13, 12, 5&7 anyway former mission's,.
Growth Egg doubles the cp earned after a fight,.
