Simple thread really. I'm sure may of you have seen sites that offer you free stuff in exchange for completing an offer, and getting referals. For example this one:
http://apple.freebiejeebies.co.uk
What I'm trying to ask is, do they honestly work? Anyone got something from one of them/know someone who has? I know the theory behind why the companies do it, but i don't know if they are scams or not. Just trying to broaden my knowledge here.
Cheers pplz..
P.S if this thread is against forum rules or summit, forgive me, i didn't know bout posting external links and stuff and if theyr allowed or not..

Well its not strictly against the rules.. but nobody appreciates being told about these things even if they do supposedly work.
I'm not gonna lock the thread because you've had a few posts here.. anyone care to share thoughts regarding the topic?
Well i had no intention of 'telling everyone about it'. I onyl wished to know if anyone had known of success with these sorts of things.
The age old saying 'if its too good to be true, then it probably is' and all that stuff..
its not free. you have to pay for something until to get approved.

^ yup. TOC excerpt example:
"In exchange for users registering with an advertiser (also referred to as "completing an offer"), wee are compensated for sending advertisers new customers. Wee then offer you the free gift from a portion of our compensation as a Thank you for using our site.
Examples of advertisers' offers include a variety of free trial offers, advertised products for purchase, credit cards, and subscriptions to membership services. The costs vary by offer. Some are absolutely free and can be discontinued without any further obligation while others may require a small purchase. Please review all advertiser terms thoroughly before registering. If you have any questions regarding any possible charges or advertiser terms, wee do encourage you to contact them before hand to ensure that you are fully aware of any associated costs and/or obligation."

Same lol ^^
You never get anything for nothing.
There are valid ones, but I think they have minimum payouts of something ridiculously high, eg $100, so you're never actually going to bother doing them...
