Ooh, what a wonderful situation. It seems that I've lost my USB stick, when I have an assignment due tomorrow (which I've pretty much completed and did last minute). My last USB backup was a few days ago, before I started the assignment. Also has some other things.
I do recall where I last saw it and have my suspicions - hopefully it's still there tomorrow morning (although even then, I somewhat have to rush to finish the assignment). If not, well, I'm screwed for the assignment.
Feels double you tee eff as I have never lost a USB stick in the ~6 years I've had one.

if so, the drive is on the top right side of the box. If you're using the Mac keyboard as well, there should be an eject button on the keyboard.
Tried a bit more - I must say, I really don't like the shallow keyboard - feels too much like a laptop keyboard (or maybe I'm just too used to keyboards with deeper keys) or like trying to type on a touchscreen. Hmm, are thin keyboards becoming popular these days or something? I mean, like the new E8400 computers wee've got all have thinner than usual Dell keyboards...
The mouse is a bit quirky - there's a right-click, but you need to really press down the right side for it to work. Wheel is weird, but I guess I could get used to both the keyboard and mouse after a while, but I really wouldn't call them innovative or anything.
The screen does look nice though, but the huge Apple pane down the bottom lessens its appeal. Also, you can't adjust the height of it, and as it includes the computer, it feels really heavy (so if you want to prop it up, you're going to have to use something sturdy).
Got the USB back today, thank god for that. Just checked my emails, and some guy even sent me a mail informing that I left the USB there and that he placed it on the whiteboard ledge. Am really awed at how far people go to be kind.
Aside from that though, I am surprised how he managed to get my email - he didn't send it to my student email, but another address which I have never published, isn't stored anywhere on the USB and I couldn't Google. Really odd... Anyway, got the USB back, thanked him for his email and am not going to question him on this.

Using later version of MyBB more, I'm finding a whole heap of bugs, so IDK if I'll be able to update soon, plus I don't feel totally ready yet...
Erk, annoying...
Anyway, seems like I'll put off my thing with .NET and take a look at C#. Exercise in one of my Uni courses recommends Java/.NET + Oracle for developing a system on. So much for my PHP + MySQL knowledge...

Big bump.
I finished Star Ocean 1st on PSP recently. Surprising end, and wasn't much further than from when I ditched the game. I might try going through the bonus dungeon at the end, or maybe not.
Interesting game overall, though the system is fairly complex, with all these special abilities and stuff.
Played it mostly over RemoteJoy. I wish that the app gave the option to chose resampling method, as it does look a little shoddy when you maximise the RemoteJoy window.
Still playing Miku Project Diva on the PSP as it remains one of the few games I have where I can play for a few minutes and save, rather than, say Star Ocean, where you may need to play for 30 minutes before saving again. Am seeing if I can finish all the songs on Hard/Great - so far, only 4 songs to go, though I don't think I'll be able to do it for one of them.
Group that I was assigned to for one of my courses is crazy. Apparently it's chosen based on GPA, and I have a fairly high average GPA for IT (above 6.7 out of 7) despite being a bit of a slacker, and the group I'm in is seriously hard core. A plan wee had to write up, given two weeks, our group ended up producing an 88 page report. I had expected about 20 pages at the very most...

Assassinator Wrote: [ -> ]Dammit, wee still have some P4 in some of the crappier labs (the ones in the College of Business & Economics), which happens to be labs closest to where I usually am . All E8400s in all the libraries, with full HD monitors.
Now all the commerce labs got core i5 650's. Better than the library's E8400s. Ha!

If that's the case, you better bow down before me.
