okay, let me set the scene for ya...
i share a ps3 with my brother. wee each have our own user accounts, and saved on our user accounts wee have the details for our own PSN accounts, i.e. when he logs in his user, his PSN is logged in, and the same for me.
So howcumzit that when i make a download, he can access it from his account? i mean, I buy a game with my hard earned cash and he can just leech off of me? something seems not right...
it isn't just PSN downloads either. my music, videos, photos, the whole shebang is completely accessible by him. is there a way to fix this? i only seem to be able to deactivate the whole PS3, which would, of course, be pointless.
If it isn't poss., a new update idea for Sony? I mean, there should be a privacy control, or just, just,
something.

no. PS3 Games and other content like music and photos can be shared with every user on the ps3.
the best you have to do is charge your brother a fee of somesorts.
who cares?
he can play your games, so what?
its just like getting an extra game for free, so why get upset. and it would be pointless to implement that system that you are talking about, because then people would never buy games online, seeing as a store bought game can be played by different people on the same system.
ye savedata isn't shared so he can't fudge up your stuff
if it bothers you that much just tell him not to use the games or split the cost when you buy them.

What ever you do don't go to sony with this =P
@ theEvilOne, i might just try that XD
@ trademark91 i wasn't suggesting that it was always on, it could just be a setting that could be turned on and off, and for different content. for example, what if a guy had kids, but also liked adult films? :P
i suppose it doesn't matter that much, as my taste in music doesn't interest him much ;) , but i was just curious as to whether or not it was possible. if it was, i would do it, but as not, ill live.
another thing: is it possible to set up my PC (which is acting as a media server via WMP 11) to have to confirm the connection from the ps3 to connect, so my data can't just be accessed while I'm on my PC?
@ organ, why not, you think it would be rejected :)
i believe that games have a parental guidance setting on them, and you can activate parental settings. at least you could on the psp, i don't see why not on the ps3...
