Well I found this thing called encodeHD that is pretty simple. Giving it a shot.

It just occured to me.. the MP4 mux wouldn't work because of the AC3 audio.
So reencode the AC3 into AAC and mux it the H264 video with it into an MP4 and that should to the job quickest.

actually I knew you already mentioned that.. so I'm not exactly sure why I didn't interpret it as the same thing.
That limitation really hurts the Zune IMO.
I was interested in it but what goods a PMP if it doesn't do a lot of media v_v'

So supporting higher profiles won't really matter.
Exception is if people start distributing more MP4s (MKV still seems to be the preferred H.264 distribution container in piracy rings, but there are some MP4s) or people complain that Youtube HD videos (H.264 high profile) don't play natively on the Zune HD...

Yes Zune has apps. No Youtube app as of yet though. But I do enjoy playing PGR : Ferrari Edition and Audiosurf
And just waiting for MS to announce support for XviD. . .

Just a little update. I LOVE XviD4PSP now.
Just made my own profiles for my zuneHD and now I can encode good quality videos with 5.1 surround sound audio, FAST!
