basically, what i want to do is, extract the music.dat file from a game (easy enough) and change the music that's in it (not so easy...lol), to my fav' tunes. then rebuild it and put back into the game. I've had a look around (google and different forums) and i have come up with nothing. so i was wondering if there was such a program out there where i can edit the psp's game music.dat files?
what game?

and if you need to know how to edit .dat files, ask dedat.. Hahaha
LOL..!!
it really hard to find such a program... i don't think there is such a program to do so.

none of the game music sites have PSP game music for downloads
isn't there some homebrew program to run music simentaneously as the game runs from the memory stick
im not sure about this i heard it a while back
irshell did it..
but i am sure it is possible as people always went on about how to change the music files for burnout as they were sick of avril laveine..lol
Try sony sound forge
LOL you can open a iso with winrar

then put the music you won't in the game

had a look at the thread that you posted. by the looks of it, thizzinazn has seen my post in an other forum (psp-hacks or pspiso) and has quoted it. i posted the guide in early febuary and he posted his reply in march. by the way, im not saying he didn't come up with it himself, but if he did take it from my guide, a little mention would have been nice.
