As a Sonic fan, this is fudgeing awesome.
Although from the the previous trailer it looked like he was going to go back to match his his original appearance, but it's not like I don't like his new appearance or anything.
Who else noticed they used Sonic 2's prototype Sonic running sprites for the Sonic 2 display?

I suppose it'll work like the some of mobile versions of Sonic 1 where you download some of the zones and in the next episodes you get more zones.
it does say download it this summer at the end of the clip. i think the game itself will be free/cheap to download however the addon packs will cost more as every company is trying to force everyone to go download only games which i will NOT support. in saying that wee will see how sega handles this - im expecting a lot and hoping for more :)
my god, im showing my age here - i grew up playing sonic right from the master system onwards, however conversely i played and owned the megadrive version first - weird eh?
