Endless Paradigm

Why is it with some sound tracks, instumentals, piano albums and such, that they want to pan the main audio to the right or left?

I want to hear it in BOTH EARS please.

My most recent pain has come from the album "Piano de Kanon" - its the Piano from Kanon (2006) and its louder in my right ear than my left.. and this isn't the first time its happened.

I know I can pan it myself in a media player but it just doesn't sound right,.

Some games that i have do that. >_>

Left: Poosh

Right: PPPPPPPPPPPISHH!!~

Is it just one instrument, or all of them, that are panned?

well like I said sometimes its the case sometimes it aint.

in the case of Piano de Kanon its.. well.. a piano but its louder on the right-side than on my left... and if I make my left loud enough I'm deafening my right side-.

Which tracks?
I listened to a few random ones, and I wouldn't really call the right much louder than the left, if at all.
Don't see any pans either.

all of the tracks, right is certainly louder than left.

hmm.. this isn't the case with my other tunes, but I know its happened with other OSTs before hence why I'm starting to wonder if its favoured in production for some reason..

Not over here...  maybe you have a dodgy set?

Some tracks have some parts where the right is slightly louder, but not much.
