i have been using open dns for many moons now and was having no problems. But today my boss said he read that google is now offering the service as well. So, since google owns the internet, why not swap our server to use that instead...WOW...jumping to web pages is VERY VERY snappy now!

http://www.yourwebpagehere.com to the ipaddress to be seeked and loaded!

I think your physical location matters as well. Some people say that OpenDNS is faster.
In reality though, DNS resolution is quite fast and results get cached anyway, so at best, visiting a website you haven't visited recently might load slightly faster, but that's about it...
Never had issues with OpenDNS myself though.
