Endless Paradigm

So last night, since it was my birthday and Mrs didn't have a chance to get me anything, she said I can go to Walmart and get a wii :D

So i go there and rush to the electronics department and

sold out :(

So i figure its only been 10 minutes I can go run to K-Mart, maybe they have one

sold out :(

Next door is a Radio Shack, maybe they have one

sold out :(  

Down the street is a Target, they HAVE to have one

sold out :(

Ok, its been 40 minutes...just 2 more miles and there is a Gamestop...they HAVE to have one

SOLD OUT!  

double you tee eff!  I thought they couldn't give this thing away, now no one can hold them passed delivery day?

Well, next to gamestop is a furniture and electronics store...why not...I go in and WoOWOOOOOO!!!   There are 2 boxes in a glass case next to the register :D

So i say give me one wii please, and he rings it up and says
'That will be $535.36 please'

I say
'I think you rang it up twice'

He says
'No sir, that is for 1 wii and 2 extra controllers'

I say
'I still think you rang it up twice that should only be like $300 since the wii is $199 and the controllres are less than $50 each'

He says
'No sir, the package is $499'

I say
'How they hell is it $499'

He says
'Have you tried ot buy one anywhere else?'

I say
'Yes, they are all out of stock'

he says
'Yes, wee have 2 left, that will be $535.36'

I say
'Go fudge your self'
And walk back to gamestop and share my disbelief with the guys there who laugh their donkey off!

Now why the hell are these out of stock everywhere????

So after an hour of unsuccessfull shopping i get home and share my story and she's pissed I ditched her with a crabby baby and an hour later wee are friends again...maybe someday I will get a wii..

how is it so hard to get over there??

I can go for a 10 minute drive and get one... guess its rather popular in the US.

That is weird, as they have full stocks of wii in all the store around me.
I wonder why the sudden shortage in your area ?

Damn it...  One day I'll finally get a Schmilk Wii theme..  :O

amazon? better to wait like 2 days than forever.. and be sure to have a spare hdd when you get your wii :D

Dude,. its really worth to check prices,. i once wanted to buy a PS3 game at 1 shop for 60 euro,.. then i went to a shop 100 meters away and there it was 20 euro,... so basicly for the 60 euro i could buy 3 games,. its insane,..
