Endless Paradigm

Hi there, I'm a newb theme maker and use dynamic editor most of the time as I dnt like hex editing (even though i understand it).

I have the 5.50 bookmarks for hex workshop and used the HBK converter (came with dynamic editor for 5.00) to change them to .BH but how would I get dynamic editor to use them with a 5.50 prx???

I noticed that in the folders are 5.00.prx 4.01.prx and so on... are these the ofw eboots? and where would i put these bookmarks? replace the normal ones?

I'd really like to get it working on 5.50 prxs it would save me SO much time and I'm sure alot of people would be thankful for it...

EDIT:let me guess it cannot be done? without BH editing the exe anyways...? If so at least tell me so....

just edit .hb to match the file size, offset..

backup your existing ones and replace yours.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! I replaced them and checked the offsets and file size to the bookmarks i have - they were the same! probs because i got the bookmarks from here ;) I stupidly didnt think to open the .bh in notepad!

I was thinking (after looking at original .bh) can i just merge these files? the old paf.bh and the new one? would dynamic editor accept that?

also what's the 5.00.prx 4.01.prx etc about then?

I've got to say I love this site, I have learnt most things I know about making ctfs from here!

i would also like to know what the 5.00.prx etc. in the "header" folder is for... and do i need to get a 5.50.prx?

5.50 should be same as 5.00, make a copy from it

thanks, it works for 5.50 now, but i have to type in 5.50 in the prx version: and after i close dynamic editor, my paf.bh file is broken. these parts are changed into this:


[3.90]
offset=1
PRXSize=1760702
[4.01]
offset=1
PRXSize=1760702
[5.00]
offset=1
PRXSize=1760702

not good, but workable with 5.50
