I actually did not too bad, much better than my expectations anyway (I always thought I sucked donkey at this kind of thing).

With a cheap ($20-30) Panasonic headset (to be fair, I think it's quite good actually, probably sounds better than my brother's more expensive headset).

I'm going to try it again with some very shitty earphones I have... to see if this kind of stuff is more headset or more ear.

Slightly better score?!?

So it seems like the quality of earphones has nearly no relevance to the performance in this at all.  This is with the shittiest earphones in the whole house, sounds so bad I tossed them in the corner and never used them again (they were like $2 earphones from I don't know where).  And I got a slightly better score with these than with my nice sounding headset.
Me using onboard realtek audio and onboard speakers on my laptop. I am lazy to go get my earphones.
Will give it a go later when I have my Shure SE-115 earphones.
I think I can do better.

Used Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, Wahrfedale Diamond 9.0 and a pair of Sennheiser HD-205 for when i wasn't sure with the speakers.

Shows that equipment really isn't eveything.

Realtek ALC888/1200 @ ATI SB750 - High Definition Audio Controller (onboard)
and a 46€ Sennheiser PC 151

I tried it.  However, I don't have any headphones handy.  So I had to listen to it through this tiny notebook's speakers.  On top of that I had to keep the master volume on my PC down, so that I wouldn't wake up the baby...

I'm sure I could have scored better under better circumstances, but here where my results:
