so... wee got some guys computer for free cause he bought a new one, and my dad had to get all the info off the old hard drive.

its got pentium 4

1.5g memory.

my dad has a graphics card for it(yay me) so i can play games. radeon 9000 all-in-wonder

but the best part is... the graphics card hooks up to a tv. so i can use a tv as a monitor.

about to upload a video, as soon as my camera uploads all my pictures and poo poo to this poo poo pc.

oh yeah and for the tv being fixxed... uhm the convergence module burnt out on our projector tv, so all the colors were off BIGtime. so wee sent it in to get fixed payed like 500$ and they fixed it. but not completely. the colors are still off but only by like an inch or so and its only yellow and red that's off. but wee can't use the HD on the tv till it gets fixed again.

i think its soo cool
so what is the project exactly?
getting a working gaming pc. (well not exactly gaming but working for atleast most new games)

and its decent. just need to fix the tv...

also, gaming on a Pentium 4 >_¬

you can get one for about £20

Which Architecture version is it? Willamette, Northwood, Gallatin, Prescott or Cedar Mill?

If it's a Northwood or Willamette it could be 9 or 10 years old.

also the Radeon 9000 is about 8 years old, don't get any ideas of playing anything new on this, i don't want to see you disappointed after having blown money on new games ;)

It not worth even that much these days.  Can get yourself something like an old model Athlon X2 or Core2 for £20.

My integrated graphics is easily faster than your Radeon 9000.  That should tell you about it's power.
