Well, due to some incident, my PSP has to charge it's battery externally through an external charger. I've been doing this for about 2 and a half years now I think.

Well, one day (today as of posting this) I decided to charge the battery and I was stupid to leave it next to a sunny window on a hot day.
When I came back the charger the light on the charger was flashing and the battery and the charger were very hot.
My so I let them cool down for about a minute and tried to connect them again. It charged normal until later, the light started flashing again.
When I put the battery in my PSP it worked fine so I guess the problem was the charger.

I'm going to let them cool down and try again later, this wasn't the first time I left my charger and battery next to a sunny window but it is however the first time my charger acted like this.
Naw, the charger just wanted your attention since it was feeling neglected for over two years.

Yeah, probably since Goshi got his PSP I've been using it to charge batteries.

On the other hand, I put the battery and external charger under my air conditioner for a few seconds and trying again, it hasn't got any flashing lights yet.
hmmmm time for a new external charger?

It's working fine now, if this one does break for real I might as well repair my PSP's internal one.
Wierd...My psp1000 charger did something funky right before I traded it in for a psp3000...for some reason when the AC Adapter was plugged in and the psp was turned on , I got 3 verticle stripes of pixels that were red :-/  if I would take out he battery to drain the power from the botherbaord, then put it back in and  power it on with battery or use the ac adapter from my psp2000 the lines would go away.

That is sure weird.
I'm glad my Phat/1000 bought back since in June 2006 hasn't failed me yet.
Apart from the broken charger it's still working fine.
