Shouldn't it be the same though?  Since CTF only uses the PTF icon/background/preview image - this is common between all PTF formats.  I haven't checked, but I'm guessing these updates just add more icons, which aren't used in CTFs.

Also might be a while till wee get a 6.xx custom firmware >_>

24bit is like the most common BMP format, lol.
MSPaint, Photoshop, Powerpoint etc can all do it.
