Erk

w....t.....f......

well I haven't heard of mediamonkey, lol

by the way im also using itunes mainly for synching songs, lol
i use musicmatch!
I like its Icon...
Used to use MusicMatch back in 2002 and I recall it taking forever to load.  Switched to Winamp 2 and it loaded in like 2 seconds on the old Pentium 200MHz.
(By the way HE-AAC > MP3pro)

Heard Songbird was a resource killer, though I guess it may have some useful extensions.
Might try MediaMonkey again sometime - currently use foobar2000.

That is my only memory of it as well. It looked cool.. and had a "cool" feeling.

But was slow as fudge, it really was. Let alone a resource hog that Winamp would soon become.
used sonique but is't unsuported for many years now was rather awesome player with ability to make your own theme's and visualizers,. animated menu's,. ;p still works fine though! and is very fast!!

i only use win mediaplayer now,.
The one thing I don't like about FooBar is the lack or sync ability.... and I can't get it work with online-stream.
i use iTunes 9.0 :P
If resources are not a problem, then I see no reason as to why iTunes (or WMP) is bad...

iTunes lags on Clean Windows Installs with Dual Core Processors.

Fact.
