My kick donkey wife surprised the hell out of me christmas morning! After sending me on a wild goose chase of opening packages and telling me to try again and look somewhere else, the final outcome was pulling a big donkey box out of her trunk which turned out to be the DJ Hero Renegade Jay Z - Eminem special edition pack!!
Amazed to all hell I was, i set it up and started turning the wheels of steel to find out my 14 week old baby loves the hip hop/turntablism! :D So much that I put her in the over the shoulder baby belly holder and ripped up 3 sets while she kept grabbing for my hands and the turntables...so i let her loose to touch and play and she was trying to move the turntable on her own! :D It was awesome and here she is :P
On the other side of things..I have ALWAYS been amazed at turntablism and have twice sat down behind 2 technic1200s and a mixer and a stack of records and been like...uh.....s-s-s-scratch....f-f-f-fail :( I just never knew what to do and when to do it and figured it wasn't for me :( Until now :D The music is good, the mixes are great, and the feeling is awesome! I act like a total fool shaking my donkey for my wife and feeling the love in the air, and I know I will never be able to do the same with real turntables, so, for now, I will keep enjoying myself this way! :P
