All the PSOne games I care about I still have on disk, so why would I want to pay $ony even more money for games I already have?
Yet another FAILURE from $ony...
if this does happen then maybe I will get an online account....( )( O . O )( )

Indeed,.. !! sony is asking people to pay twice for the same game O_o,..
PS1 and PS2 should be standard playable on the PS3,..

the "ps1 classics" are no longer available on local stores, so only way for new players( non-ps1 generation)or old players who wants to play them is to get them is on psn store @ (5-10$ each) or ebay if they want to spend 50$+ per title. the psn store is the cheaper logical choice.
although the ps1 games i want to see on psn are not there yet

(xenogears, suikoden 2, vandal hearts 1 and 2, brigandine, tactics ogre, ogre battle, azure dreams)

Ok,. i gave this some thought,..
sony will sell PS1 games online to play on the PS3,.
but
They won't allow people to use there old PS1 cd's on there PS3,..
I am guessing they don't suport PS1 and PS2 games on the PS3 because they still want to sell PS2 consoles,.
anyway,. is't this taking advantage of a marketing monopoly>?>? PS3 people are misled,..>?>?
my PS3 still plays PS1 and PS2 games
just they took it off to save money
i don't see how it does though
If the software to perform the emulation already exists, it costs nothing to include it, surely?
