Newer games can be decrypted so stfu. Also, messing with the flash back and forth isn't a very good idea. I posted why on GEN's forums in the 5.03 GEN-C topic: http://www.pspgen.com/forums/5-03-gen-c-t192638-36.html

I mean, I know it'll be used a whole lot more now that GEN can play newer games and so, but it worked fine for me. (uninstalling that is, 3.60)

So that after you realize that GEN is better, it can be uninstalled better? LOL

Pretty sure there are few users that have messed with the flash more than I have.  Maybe some of the firmware or theme developers, but not many more.  I've spent years doing full nand restores along with modifying all the files on flash and have NEVER lost any more blocks than the 1 bad one that came shipped from Sony on my slim psp2000.  my PSP 1000 was a little less abused and was pandora'd many many MANY more times than my psp2000.

CFE and Gen for psp3000 do not modify any firmware files, only enabler files, so I don't see how you can brick from installing/uninstalling CFE or Gen.

I still don't see any benefit of using this over gen-c...but maybe I'll try it anyways :)

Like so:
ms0:/seplugins/blablabla.prx 1
Oh thank you, but im gonna stick to 5.03 GEN-C. I got LBP, T6, and GTA: CW
meh is that really dangerous to uninstall-install the cfe for hen? I'm using different cfe and repeating hen process in psp3000 but it do not experience uninstalling problems or whatsoever, i just don't mess with flash just let it be

and yeah all firmware files are saved in memstick and not in flash right when you run the enabler?
SchmilK, you must be the lucky one. My Phat died on me little less than a year ago. I'm running it on the "Test M33" feature from DCv8 and decrypting the newer games - which takes less than 5 minutes. Anyway. I have seen [Slim] NAND dumps with more than 12 bad blocks (some of them were consecutive some were random) straight from the factory. And as time went by they increased to about 20-22 and it was hard to count them, that's how many they were.

The more bad blocks you have, the less space for the operating system there is, because it cuts on the usable space.

The benefit of using this is because it's kinda like a 5.00 M33-6 for a 2000v3 or a 3000. GEN doesn't have the Speed up MS option. And they both flash files in flash0. WAIT. Unless... Unless MhuFS uses the memory stick to store the files... That would make it virtually unbrickable since it wouldn't mess with the flash in any shape or form. What DOES MhuFS do anyway ?
