This is epic.  I wonder if Datel can actually sign their own eboots, or if this is just a hex edited UPDATE eboot that causes a crash allowing them to run their own code.   I find it suspicious that this eboot must be run from the UPDATE folder.

I nosed around a little and extracted the DATA.PSP file from Datel's eboot, using PSP Brew, then opened it with a hex editor.  It seems to be encrypted, but I wonder what the story with the funny message embedded in it:  (attached screen shot to post)

This isn't a homebrew. It's an "official" EBOOT. Datel apparently signed it somehow so that OFW PSPs could run it. I'm wondering why it's in Japanese of Datel is a UK based company.

You can change the language in the settings: Triangle > 3rd from the bottom. I'm guessing Matchung was playing around with it and decided to share it along with his configuration.

I just noticed that all of my GAME plugins are disabled when running this too o_O

think about it, one of the things wee do is make are own codes for games right?
using night pr iv pwned tons of games. now datel is going to start searching for everones hand made codes turning them into there format for there system saying that its "easyer" that way and making it look like a good thing then thel make people pay for the codes. and sence datel is a compony, they can copywrite there work. claming everyhting is theres. if you think im some sort of nut look around you, sonys been doing it! but there a bit nicer about it.
