i use OpenDNS ^-^ as its the fastest for me
But you have to register as far as I know....
D:

It looks like you can pay for it too...
Lolz yeah... and thanks for the rep^^
you could have just added the new IP to your hosts file >_>
i just put the DNS for OpenDNS into my Network Adapter settings and bam... done.

wiki says OpenDNS is free

Nope - only do if you want to use its filtering service.  Google doesn't have its own filtering service I believe anyway.

Start » Run » ncpa.cpl » right-click your NIC » Properties » Internet Protocol IPv4 in list » Properties » select Use following DNS servers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

If you want, can also add your ISP's DNS servers as well as your router in Advanced.
shouldnt a "ipconfig /flushdns" fix it anyway?

And from what I've read, Firefoxes DNS Cache expires every 3-4 hours.

The idea of using a Google DNS doesn't seem right :/
But most people are using the ISP's DNS, which is stored on the router

You can flush your local DNS settings, but your router will still be using an outdated record from your ISP until theres gets updated, and your router flushes, if it stores a copy locally

Lol yeah SkyDX told me to use that "ipconifg /flushdns" but didn't work.
My ipod an psp don't work though so I have to edit their settings to use googles DNS also...

[edit] hmmm I can access the \/0iD with my iPod now... That means I don't need to use googles DNS anymore :D
