Apparently the host is deciding to move the server to a different data centre.
Quote:Scheduled Move Date:
Tuesday, December 15th
Service Down at 7pm EST
Est. Service restored 9-10pm EST
(I think "EST" = GMT -5)

I'm not sure if it will go really that smoothly - I have to add extra IPs to the NIC and DNS and I dunno if it will go well (assuming I didn't hard code the current IP into any other script I wrote up).
New server IP should be 209.124.33.201 if anyone's interested.

So yeah, just putting it up if anyone wants to know.
coolio!
So do wee need to expect much downtime? I don't know if I can cope for long without the \/oid...
Hopefully 2-3 hours as mentioned in the email I got.  Might be longer if DNS doesn't propagate though (still haven't set that up >_>).
Might be faster if you're using something like OpenDNS (unsure how their caching systems work, so IDK if it's any better).

Or you could add the line to your hosts file:

Code:
209.124.33.201 endlessparadigm.com

(don't add it now, as it will stop you from accessing it since the above IP isn't valid yet)

Actually, expect it to be down longer.  I just realised that Tuesday night in the US corresponds to Wednesday morning over here, and I'll be at work then.

Maybe I should ditch using the BIND server and use the domain registrant's nameserver...
I'll try to be on IRC when I get home, which may be a few hours later.
well it either goes down at 12pm or 10pm for me, either are good enough for me =D
Ill be in school. Exam week so no bothers for me.
Move complete now.
DNS still not resolving on my side, but can access through tunnels (or hard coding the thing) - if you can see this message, then your DNS has resolved fine :P

Was moved this morning.  But couldn't do anything til I got home from work.  Seems like I didn't add the NIC right or something, but host fixed it up for me :)

Apologies for inconvenience and such.
