I'm looking at getting a new 4gb memory stick, and have read that Sandisk is the way to go...
I'm currently sporting a Sony 2gb, which works sweet, but wondered what everyone else is using and whether you've got any recommendations?
It seems Sandisk offer many types of Pro Duo - "Standard", Ultra II, Rapid GX...  any comments?
i currently have Ultra II and it has great transfer speeds..i like sandisk products, there better then sony in my oppinion.
never heard of the Rapid GX though.
Yeah, I think they're not really for PSP's, but I don't know why not?!?

Then there's gaming ones, Extreme III ones, sheesh!!!

So you reckon the Ultra II is all good?  I can get one for NZD$160.
just make sure to buy from a reputeable dealer - lots of fakes going about.
im not putting the fakes down but some of them can be dangerous as well as performing badly. my single fake isn't too bad - just bad transfer rates but i don't lose data with it so in my book its acceptable. i also knew it was a fake before i bought it so it was my decision, but if you are in any doubt then ask the seller. the only real difference between the high end gaming ones and the lower end ones are the transfer rate. and in all honesty this only really matters when your copying stuff to your stick, and even then, you probably wouldnt notice the difference. the difference between my sony, my sandisk, and my fake, are negligeable. the only way i can find a difference is by runnning a benchmark.
sandisk lol faster access to the stick, storeing and moving ..................

make sure you get  it from a good dealer !!!!...................

and enjoy !.........................
