I really doubt most people who listen to vocaloid will listen to it for a long time, unless they listen to that type of music. Many who listen to it a lot and regularly (like Hearty) and those who do listen to it sometimes (like Me) is either because they like it a really lot or don't really find it annoying.
Most who claim they LOVE it are just what hearty calls "Wapanese-wannabes"...
