Hmm, I wonder... Erk

By the way the game will be like this if no one else suggests any ideas.
* lembas likes that idea.
hmmmm. sounds good so far. lets hope everybody can stay on track.
What platform, boss?

Game Maker 7 pro?
GM7 lite?
GM6?
GM5? (Please don't. *shudders*)
Other

Also, while a platformer would be excellent... why not EP theme?
Here's my idea, corny as it is.
Each level is based on a EP theme - So the main hub world is just plain EP, other worlds might include the world of exploding pirates, Endless Pocky Moutains, and so on.
To get invulnerability to enemies like trolls and being eXx1l3d for flame-wars, you must pick up a magical Zinga Burga. Zinga will protect you from one troll by banning it before he disappears.
Each "character" has a super-ability, and all characters can just jump on an enemy to hurt them; to defeat the trolls and avoid ban.
And to accompany the 8-bit music, 8-16 bit sprites of the player and the world at large. I'd prefer 32x32 sprites, but whatever.

I'm 'game' for this if you guys are. Heh heh heh.

P.S: And if you guys want to make make a Top-Down Shooter instead, I got a nice little engine in GM7, already made for a game that didn't really go anywhere due to lack of content. Got AI NPCs, lots of guns, and a somewhat broken stealth component, which can be disabled.

Those are some good ideas, A top down shooter would be pretty easy, I mean in GM I still have some trouble setting up the platformer engine that I usually have to reference.
Well, Silvertie, if you really have that engine you speak of then its looking good.

Xitherun on Sound too... who on Graphics?
To prove I'm not all talk, no action, here's an exe of the engine.

>>> GAME ENGINE DOWNLOAD FROM MEDIAFIRE LOL For the win OMG double you tee eff Barbecue <<<<

Sadly for you, it's written in GM7 Pro, so... yeah. PM me for more details on how I can help you with that one.

Regardless, I'll gladly handle coding for GameMaker, if wee wind up using that and if you want. (If it's not GMx, I'm going to have to learn it, and someone else might be better suited, then)

Okay, I don't have a full version of 7 whilst I do of 6, also I can't really download it because I'm not sure if my bandwidth has reset yet.
