EP was one of my only outlets in my life, other than my parents and my girlfriend, and they all share in my ideas (even though my gf usually gets lost in my train of thought), but sometimes I prefer to spout my thoughts to many at once and then have a conversation. Or, as is the occasion above, I'll see something that makes me do semi-rants, and no one will be close enough to talk to, even though as soon as I read it, I emailed the story to my parents, gf, and best friend.  

I enjoy reading, and respect (practically) every member's thoughts on this forum, and as such, I like to try conveying my feelings as well as possible. Because of this, I try to be as explicit as possible, which I've learned I need to do in my life, or else I might be misunderstood, since I am usually just musing, and others usually will read too much into what I'm saying or they will take a slightly wrong turn in my logic. As a result, my posts are often longer. [/Spoiler]

E.g., I could have summarized post as "I try to be as explicit as possible and I like to vent on EP."

Nothing wrong with venting on here


I think more people than you realise share you views on the state of the world...its ruined, and wee can only blame ourselves

If the world is so bad; just try to make a better influence and not screw up where others have

if you are a good example yourself, soon others should follow.

As for the guy, you can find sympathy in his plight; but that doesn't change what he did, so it's necessary to punish him so spoon like this doesn't ever happen again.

14 years!! That's it, c'mon this guy totally deserves more.

I always do, but one look around says that no matter how hard i try to be the best i can, its not gonna change the fact that people don't care any more

It doesn't stop me trying, but i have no expectations about my effect on others...there arent any
