Ok now I still have the dull normal standard XMB background, and I want to change it now theres so many tools to do stuff to it I can't take it anymore. I just have no idea what to do though.

I want this background and these waves:

With these cool icons:

And this volume bar:

And this battery indicator:

I found a few links that may be useful but its all too much for me to understand. I am running 3.03OE-B and I don't want to brick so whatever I use, it needs to be stable and it needs to be 100% clear what I need to do, so I don't fudge up. Links:

Can anyone help?
Update:

I downloaded this: http://pspupdates.qj.net/Custom-PSP-Them.../aid/82945
and it seems to have a lot in it, but not everything. Also, what are gameboots?
Basically, messing with RCOs won't brick, though I recommend 3.03 OE-C for customization (CIntros suck ballz).  Basically the USB flash0 feature is really handy.

Just find the custom files and flash - if you must use OE-B, use PSP Filer to flash.

Background is in 01-12.bmp
Waves are in system_plugin_bg.rco
Icons are in topmenu_plugin.rco
Volume bar (plus many other things people don't bother changing) in impose_plugin.rco
Battery icon (plus the busy indicator) is in system_plugin_fg.rco

Gameboots are the videos played when you start a game/homebrew.  By default, it's some green effect with the PSP branding.
oh that, i hate it
Wha?  What do you hate?
the standard gameboot
Actually, I think I have 3.03OE-C. I don't know because i changed the version in the system info to Pnwt, but it says 3.03OE-C in my MSN name so that must be it :P how do I tell?

So i changed my mind. I want an image as a background, not a gradient, but, i still want waves. is that possible? how?
