As you may have not known or cared, I have been living in the Central NY area for the past year and a half roughly. I will be returning home to Jacksonville FL most hopefully the 19th of this month. I can't fucking wait. I hate NY. Its too cold for my blood now.

And yes NY is cold. I was there in October last year. Wee were all huddling over subway vents in Times Square for the wafts of hot air...

And yeah, I know what ya mean. Its worse up in the rest of NY though, because there is nothing. Just open land and a handful of largish cities. No subway vents to save you from the bone chilling cold......
I prefer the cold over heat any day ~_~

That is a bit of the reason, but not nearly all of it. Plus, the south is so much better for growing. YOU should know this. :D
Cold weather is nicer. If you want to warm up, you turn on the heater, or put more clothes on; the reverse if you get TOO warm. In hot weather, if you want to cool down, you can only do so much.
