So... I saw the post about SensMe and the full 6.10 colors might be coming to the upcoming 5.50 GEN-D3... It got me thinking... If that's possible, does that mean wee'll be able to get those on 5.03 too at some point?


oh and while I'm at it.... I read a translation of MaGiXien's post. Google translated. The piece about PSN... I didn't quite understand google's poor translation. Can somebody help a nigga out? (no im not a racist -__-)  (by the way nor am I black)

...team gen's just worried that sony might ban custom firmware psp's, the probability of that happening though is quite low, there is no official Madwin for banning psp's.

As for it to actually hapening, I would think it's nearly impossible because wee can just pop the battery out if it try's something funny.

how can it ban the psp? can't wee just fudge up the mac address any ways? or dous it ban it from a different way

it's impossible is what I'm saying...

they'd have to make it so that when you connected to their network's it'd run some program online to check for customfirmware, then delete certain files on you're flash0, since customfimware allows you to access flash0 they could too, if they could come up with a-way, but since the psp really only runs stuff off of the memorycard, it'd have to download first, and that's where you go "FUCK YOU", and pop your battery out.

mac address doesn't do spoon, stop talking, and worrying about it.

i wasn't worring. i was asking a simple question. i don't know any thing about hacking, and i would like to learn!

Something as simple as an IP ban is effective and isn't that easy to bypass.

Theoretically may be possible to "emulate" how the later PSN works, but a simple update from Sony would effectively ruin all the work that initially went into it.

I personally think SensMe is just poo poo - the XMB's player is way better.

Well my main topic was about SensMe. Do you think it'll be added? It's not as good, I admit it but I do like it. It's more fun then the regular XMB player.

Personally don't think anyone will bother.  But if it happens, it happens - rumours don't really get anywhere.
