no, seriously.
Been in long flights - sleep through them and that takes out a sizeable portion of it. Can play PSP for remaining hours you're not eating.

they arnt gonna last the whole flight though. -.-
How is it lame? Everyone will agree that it is not lame.
As for DS/iPod/PSP/Lappy: Keep switching between them, lol... that should make them last for quite some time. Use only one at a time.
iPod should have enough battery life, though.

Crazy... Didn't even use like 10% of my PSP's battery on an 8 hour flight - in fact, only managed to watch the first hour of the movie I was watching. Though I did watch a bit of the TV and typed some random poo poo on the laptop for an hour.
