When you download a .exe and then try to run it, Windows (7) seems to want to ask whether you really did intend to run it.
Uh, yeah, I double-clicked the thing cause I was bored...

Anyone know how to get rid of the prompt?  It also seems to take a while to come up at times.  I know there's a checkbox, but it only applies to the same publisher.
are you referring to the UAC?

If so you can go to CP > system and security> Change User account control settings and turn it off

CP > User Accounts > UAC for me...

I have security level "1" or "the one just above the bottom" lolz
No, downloaded EXEs (maybe only signed ones) - don't have the message exactly at the moment - will try once I can find it.

ive just been conditioned into knowing when they come so it doesn't slow me down
Anybody knows? I'm friggin tired of those too, not that it takes any time but just because it annoys me - . -

I got that exact thing on XP SP3 to, lol.

so I don't think it's UAC.
