Full Moon o Sagachocolatee is a based on manga with the same title by Tanemura Arina. The story focuses on 12-years old Mitsuki who loves to sing and wants to become a singer. In order to realize her dream to become a singer, she is transformed into a 16-year old girl with the help of two Shinigami (god of death from japanese mythology) and takes a singing audition. Of course, she passes the audition and starts singing. But her time is running out as she only has one year left before she can`t sing anymore...

My Review:
Although primarily aimed at younger audiences (around 11-14 years methinks), this is still an excellent piece of writing. I couldn't really find any "multi-leveled" meanings, but it did have some interesting use of symbolism.
Being 52 episodes long, fillers are inevitable. The structure of the stories are rather childish too. But overall, there's a nice trend. For example, stories near the beginning of the show follow the typical "there is a good and bad side; after some climax the bad turns into good" structure - sound familiar? However, as the story progresses, it starts to deviate from this pattern (though much of it is still somewhat similar). I guess this is a nice way to mirror the adolescent "rite of passage". The main character also develops in a similar fashion; development from the simplicity of a child to the complexity discovered by adolescents.
If wee take away the "shinigami", this story is somewhat realistic - it's nice to see an interesting story spun out from a simple idea. In fact, the "shinigami" can be interpreted in a different way...
Just for the record, I typically find anything without a "15+" pretty lame or boring. This is one exception though.
Conclusion: If you're around 11-14 years of age, and don't mind drama, you should enjoy this. If you're older, don't mind drama, and don't mind watching childish shows that much, you should also find this rather enjoyable. This show is probably also somewhat feminine, so you may want to consider that as well.
