Endless Paradigm

Can someone help me with editing the classic wave speed of this plugin please? I really appreciate it. I'm on 5.00 M33-6. Thanks.

man i can't remember the offset off the top of my head but its probably different if your modding an original 5.00 wave file, mines a converted converted several times from 3.xx or something so that won't help you unless your modding an older wave.

now you can control the wave speed in the wave file itself which is what i prefer but this one is a paf modification - itll do.

one other small thing, please take the time to search the forums - this took me 10 seconds to find. :)

ok i see the paf edit files thing... but im no scientist to hexxing. i don't what what values do what...

do you think you could edit a wave speed for me...? im not sure what firmware its for but its sure not for 5.00.

i been googling for hours trying to find out... and im no scientist. i tried to hex edit and it turns out i screwed the file up completely every time i try.

i just need it sped up alot, but not ridiculously fast

well as wee don't know what version your wave is from and your not good at hexing i found by chance someone made a program that claims to be able to do what you need.

yeah i used that. i d/led it last night, after searching again and again.

its ok as a program. and it did what i needed.

(but, seeing as i am a really picky person)

i tried to loop a certain part of this wave, and i works decent, but its a bit glitchy as its like a 2 second loop lol. trial and error, got it where it isn't as noticeable...

and if you would like to help me a little more, i am in search of a wave, that isn't so a wave like all the wave packs and such, i seen the "ninja star" one, and i was wondering about other odd waves, not so much the wave or the circular wave like "ninja star". but ones that are not normal

i tried to hex edit the normal wave and put in random figures, in the tabs for the wave shape, but it is not so cool as i thought.(looks like garbage)

a guy named z33 made some spoon hot waves and i took one of his wave models and added my own picture, zoomed it in and adjusted the speed. im also willing to let you have the wave and you can then of course add your own picture. its basically like a full screen wave effect - i was rather impressed that i had managed to make it the way i wanted but in all honesty i couldnt have done it without z33. the only problem with it is that it doesn't properly support 5.00 so you must select classic wave before you install it otherwise you will partialy brick your psp (you need to use recovery to restore the file if it happens) also resetting settings will cause the same problem, just bear that in mind. let me know if you want it.

yeah that would be awsome. right now im using a star looking wave. like its a star in the center of the psp, and the edges rotate and stuff. not sway from left to right like a wave.


but yeah. that would be cool.

the older waves that arent for 5.00 are best any ways when it comes to being artistic. my star wave is the same way, it semi bricks.

if you have any problems with the file not working make sure you have backed up your orig file and ill get it off my own psp and attach it tommorow. im attaching this because i think this is it (judging by the size) but im not sure if its one of the ones i messed with.

dude this is tight. how do you zoom the wave?

glad you liked it. when i was messing with the waves in the early days people discovered how to do wave speed, size(horizontal and vertical), animation and zoom factor among other things, so as i knew a good bit about hexing i modded a wave by z33 and added it to a standard system_plugin_bg then used the hex values found by others to do this to it. all i did really was put together what others had found, however i still use this wave and love it to death. when i get a chance hopefully tommorow ill check your wave out. thanks again.
